Lisbon’s viewpoints

One of Lisbon’s 7 hills houses one of the city’s most impressive viewpoints. Take time to enjoy the view from the top of Eduardo VII Park. Just below is the great roundabout of Marquis of Pombal that was responsible for the reconstruction of the city after the earthquake of 1755. From the big “Rotunda” go down the charming Liberdade Avenue, designed in the French style, where you can appreciate the incomparable Portuguese sidewalk and many statues dedicated to historical figures. You can also take a break at one of the kiosks, go for a movie or to the theater and shop in the luxury stores.

Christmas in Lisbon

Suggestion for the day: journey through the historic center of Lisbon.
Start at Marquês de Pombal, go down the Avenue to Rossio Square. There, linger on the stalls at the Christmas Market. Visit also the stores in Baixa where you find unique gifts Made in Portugal. Climb up Santa Justa Lift and dazzle yourself with the illuminated Castle. Head to Camões Square to take your best selfies. End at Chiado and enjoy the beautiful Christmas tree.

The spirit of Christmas is in town

The spirit of Christmas is already in town. Lisbon welcomes the most special time of the year. From 29/11 to 2/12, make your Christmas shopping at Campo Pequeno Market where you can find author’s articles and design pieces exclusively of Portuguese origin, inspired by the traditional arts and crafts. This way, you contribute to the sustainability of small trades.
