About us

AMGI is a family-owned company founded by two Lisbonans in love with their city, which led them, in 2003, to start the activity of rebuilding and rehabilitation of degraded buildings in the historic area of the city.

Our architecture and interior design projects are always conceived on the basis of a concept of preserving the history, traditions and spirit of the places. For this reason, we give great importance to the surrounding physical determinants in the constant search for the adaptation of the most modern techniques to the practices used by the ancient craftsmen. We believe this to be the best formula for providing unique and customized living conditions.

At a certain point, this compromise between contemporary construction, ancient knowledge and the surrounding environment has resulted in the challenge of designing a new building project. The result are beautiful villas with modern and sophisticated lines, inserted in the wonderful landscape of the Alentejo coast.

Currently, AMGI uses the acquired knowledge, as well as the teams formed over time, to develop high-quality boutique aparthotel projects and, in this way, continue to do what it does best: rehabilitate the real estate, creating unique and unrepeatable spaces which are a meeting point not only for our people, but also for the travelers who come to us.
